WOMEN'S HEALTH /PELVIC FLOOR PHYSIOTHERAPY
Supporting women with pelvic floor related issues throughout the adult lifespan including through pregnancy and postpartum. Common symptoms addressed include incontinence, prolapse, and pelvic pain.
Addresses general pain and injuries persisting beyond 3-4 months for men and women. A holistic evidence-based approach is utilized to assess and address the complex factors involved in chronic pain including neuroplastic changes, systemic inflammation, and nervous system sensitization.
DIASTASIS RECTI ABDOMINIS PHYSIOTHERAPY
Evidence-based approach to addressing abdominal separation after pregnancy and regaining strong core muscle function. Strategies may include exercises, retraining body and breath mechanics, and addressing system inflammation.
Get help with challenges related to infant feeding including latching issues, nipple and breast pain, blocked ducts, and pumping. Infant neck, jaw, and tongue mechanics as well as reflexes are assessed along with maternal factors. Both mother and infant components are assessed and addressed as appropriate.
