Addresses general pain and injuries persisting beyond  3-4 months for men and women. A holistic evidence-based approach is utilized to assess and address the complex factors involved in chronic pain including neuroplastic changes, systemic inflammation, and nervous system sensitization.

Hypermobility affects many body systems and can influence function and quality of life. Well-informed physiotherapy as well as pelvic health physiotherapy can help with pain, autonomic dysfunction, digestion, and sleep issues. 

LACTATION & INFANT FEEDING

Get help with challenges related to infant feeding including latching issues, nipple and breast pain, blocked ducts, and pumping. Infant neck, jaw, and tongue mechanics as well as reflexes are assessed along with maternal factors.

Pelvic health physiotherapy can be helpful during pregnancy to address pain and other symptoms, prepare for a vaginal or cesarean delivery, as well as to improve recovery after delivery. Sessions are adjusted as needed for safety and comfort at all stages of pregnancy postpartum

DIASTASIS RECTI ABDOMINIS PHYSIOTHERAPY

Evidence-based approach to addressing abdominal separation after pregnancy and regaining strong core muscle function. Strategies may include exercises, retraining body and breath mechanics, and addressing systemic inflammation.

MENOPAUSE

menopause transition)

Pelvic health physiotherapy can address and support many symptoms of 'genitourinary syndrome of menopause' like incontinence, urgency, and pain with intercourse. Broader body changes such as muscle loss, bone density reduction, and increased risk of cardiovascular disease can also be aided by appropriate, targeted exercise guidance.

SEXUAL PAIN

A whole-person approach is used to assess and address the complex components that contribute to painful intercourse and other challenges with intimacy. Privacy, respect, and personal comfort are prioritized throughout assessment, treatment, and independent strategies.
