Registered Massage Therapist 

Clinic and clientele: 

Centered In Health is a boutique Physiotherapy clinic in Okotoks, Alberta, dedicated to holistic, evidence-based care. The clinic's primary focus is in women's pelvic health, chronic pain, hypermobility, and breastfeeding support, offering personalized, one-on-one treatments in a private setting. With a strong emphasis on education and compassionate, collaborative care, Centered In Health supports clients in staying active and engaged in the activities that matter most to them.​

The clinic is currently seeking a dedicated professional to contribute to its mission of delivering holistic, evidence-based care to Okotoks and the surrounding area.

The ideal RMT candidate will:

  • Provide therapeutic and evidence-informed massage treatments tailored to each client’s individual needs.

  • Support clients with a wide range of conditions, including chronic pain, pelvic health concerns, hypermobility, and pre/postnatal care.

  • Collaborate with the clinic physiotherapist to contribute to a whole-person care approach.

  • Have a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques, with a commitment to continued learning.

  • Educate clients on self-care, posture, and preventative strategies to promote long-term wellness.

  • Maintain thorough and accurate client records in compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Create strong therapeutic relationships with clients

  • Have excellent communication skills

  • Be self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills

  • Be comfortable working with a predominantly female population as well as male clients

  • Utilize a variety of manual techniques - myofascial release, visceral massage, dermoneuromodulation, and/or lymphatic drainage would be an asset

  • Schedule follow up appointments for clients (when preferred to online booking)

  • Contribute to advertising/social media to promote massage therapy services

  • Be excited to be part of a growing company and work collaboratively to position it as a leader for health and wellness in the community

Requirements:

  • Registered Massage Therapist Diploma, 2200-hour RMT

  • Membership with CMMOTA, MTAA, NHPC, or CRMTA

  • Valid liability and practice insurance

  • 1+ year clinical experience preferred

  • CPR and first aid certification

Resources provided by clinic*: 

  • Equipment and systems for scheduling, direct billing, and receiving payments

  • Virtual Assistant providing direct billing, processing payments, and miscellaneous administrative tasks

  • EMR system for charting and online booking system for patients

  • Treatment room, electric treatment table, equipment, and supplies

  • Laundry services

  • Advertising, business cards, signage

Job details:

  • Part-time, casual

  • Employee or Contractor format negotiable*

  • 18-24 hours per week are available with the potential to grow to full-time

  • Daytime, evening, and weekend hours are available

           (Scheduling can be FLEXIBLE to fit your needs and lifestyle)

  • Fee for service based pay with hourly wage for administrative/marketing tasks*

  • Work to be done on site in Okotoks clinic
